Commissioning Ceremony

If you live in or around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, then Liliam and I would like to invite you to our commissioning ceremony being held at Dallas Bible Church this Sunday, December 4th. Liliam and I are excited to see all our old friends and feel blessed to be partnering with such a great church.
On a separate note, we are even closer to our goal of 100%. We hit 89% a few days ago and still people are coming up to us and saying they would like to participate with us. Praise God!

God Bless

Milestone Reached!

We are very close to 100% of our goal! Currently our support status is right at 85%! We jumped 7% in just 4 days. In fact our support jumped so fast that I had originally planned to blog when we hit the "$1000" left mark, but before I had a chance to write this blog we went from a $1000 left to raise to $657! We thank all of you who support us through your prayers and finances. Before long we will be blogging and e-mailing everyone that we are leaving.

Fun Little Quiz

I found this Quiz online title, "What's your Theological World View?" Give it a shot and tell me how you score. Here are my results:
You scored as Reformed Evangelical. You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God's Word. You most likely hold to TULIP and are sceptical about the possibilities of universal atonement or resistible grace. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.

Top Ten Blog Mistakes

Here is a great article by Jacob Neilson titled Weblog Usability The Top Ten Design Mistakes. The author gives an excellent run down to key mistakes bloggers make. I am already thinking about several content and design changes.

Coming Soon!

I have been hard at work (ok play) on our website MobilizingBrazil.com. I hope to have the final (like I will ever be done tweaking) version live sometime in the next 24-48 hours.

I also hope to have our latest news letter sent out in the next few days as well. Now that we are fulltime missionaries, I have more time do dedicate towards our site.

We are expecting!

It is with great joy that Liliam and I announce that we are pregnant with our second child! The due date will likely be some time in late April. That means that he/she will be born in Brazil, which is what Liliam wanted.

Pray for Liliam that she would not be sick. With Gabriela, she was very nauseous for many months. Pray also that she would feel well enough and have the energy to complete our support raising.

The Date Has Been Set!!!

We have set our departure date to move to Brazil! December 20th 2005 we will board an airplane bound for Sao Paulo Brazil! From there it is only an hour and half drive to Braganca Paulista, our new home for the years to come.
We are excited about our future and the plans God has in store for us. We desire to see the Christians of Brazil mobilized to reach the nations for Jesus.
Stay tuned for further updates.
